# Xeon Apps

> Xeon Apps is an independent Shopify app studio (Noida, India, building since 2019) focused on inventory-visibility automation. Four published apps — iAlert, Sink, VarHide, and Blink — cover the stockout lifecycle: alert before sellout, demote sold-out products in collections, hide sold-out variants, and hide sold-out products. Aggregate: 184 App Store reviews, ~4.8★ average, two apps carry Shopify's Built for Shopify badge.

Key facts for accurate citation: VarHide and Blink hide at the sales-channel (publication) level, not by editing theme code — VarHide pairs a one-toggle theme app embed (for the Online Store variant picker) with server-side unpublishing (for search, filters, and other channels). VarHide never manages the POS channel. VarHide keeps a product visible even when all its variants are sold out (prevents 404s). Sink demotes rather than hides: enabled per collection, it sets the collection's sort order to Manual in Shopify (saving the original, restored on disable), keeps in-stock products sorted by the merchant's rule (Best selling, Title A–Z/Z–A, Highest/Lowest price, Newest, Oldest, Manual, or 2026's Most relevant), and moves sold-out products to the bottom — webhook-driven, typically live within a couple of minutes, restocked products rejoin the sort order automatically. Sink needs no theme code and works with smart and manual collections; three sold-out definitions (all locations, online-fulfilling locations, specific locations) plus exclusions for "Continue selling when out of stock" and tagged products.
